Tomato momo chutney – is a spicy, tangy chutney made from fresh tomatoes. This chutney pairs with momo’s or dumplings. I make this chutney either with green chillis or dry red chillis. It depends on my mood and taste I’m looking for on that particular day.

FOR DOSAS AND IDLY:
This chutney tastes amazing with dosa, idly, vada, plain yogurt rice. I usually give it a tadka and stays fresh for more than a week in the refrigerator.
How to prepare tadka:
1 In a pan, add oil and wait until its hot. Then add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, curry leaves, hing ( asafoetida).
2 Mix this tadka in the chutney.
