TIPS TO REMEMBER BEFORE COOKING TANDOORI SALMON IN AIR FRYER
Marination paste can be made ahead and chilled. Rub it on the fillet 15 minutes before cooking.
Lime or lemon tends to denature the protein in fish when fish is marinated for longer.
Standard salmon fillet takes about 8 to 10 minutes to cook. According to the thickness of the fillet, time varies.
Wash under cold water and allow to drain. Pat dry with a kitchen towel before marinating.
Don’t over rub marinate on fish, for a glossy glaze and the best flavors.
HOW TO COOK TANDOORI SALMON IN AIR FRYER
Mix all ingredients to make a paste except melted butter. Next, rub the marinade over the salmon fillet and let it rest for 15 minutes.
Remove excess marination before placing salmon in an air fryer.
Preheat the air fryer to 392 F for 5 minutes.
Place the fillets in an air fryer without overcrowding the basket. Cook for 4 minutes then brush it with melted butter. Flip to the other side and cook for another 4-6 minutes.
