  • Marination paste can be made ahead and chilled. Rub it on the fillet 15 minutes before cooking.
  • Lime or lemon tends to denature the protein in fish when fish is marinated for longer.
  • Standard salmon fillet takes about 8 to 10 minutes to cook. According to the thickness of the fillet, time varies.
  • Wash under cold water and allow to drain. Pat dry with a kitchen towel before marinating.
