Roasted peanuts are essential in every day south Indian cooking. Roast them in bulk and store them in a container saves a lot of time on busy weekdays. In today’s post, I will share the oven and air fryer version.
In a cookie sheet, place the raw peanuts in a single layer.
Place the cookie sheet in the oven and roast them for 15 – 20 minutes, stirring in between cooking.
When the skin on peanuts becomes golden color and loose. Remove them from the oven and let them cool down. Peanuts will continue to cook when removed from the oven.
AIR FRYER:
To start, preheat the oven to 350 f.
In an air fryer basket, pour the raw peanuts in a single layer.
Cook them 6 – 10 minutes or until golden brown. Shake the basket in between every few minutes for even roasting.
Pour them on a sheet pan or bowl and let them cool down for few minutes.
HOW TO STORE ROASTED PEANUTS:
Remove the skin on peanuts and store them in an airtight container.
