  • 3 tbsp Sesame oil or oil of your choice
  • 1/2 cup Onion
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 500 grams Keema minced goat or lamb meat
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 medium Tomato 3/4 cup
  • 2 Green chilis optional
  • 1/2 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1-1.5 tbsp Red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 1/4 cup Green peas
  • 1/2 cup Water

Instructions

  • Optional: Clean the miced meat with turmeric and salt and let it sit in colander until water is drained completely.
  • Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and heat oil.
  • Add the chopped onion and sauté until transulent.
  • Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for few seconds. Using a steel turner spatula helps in scraping the bottom if ginger garlic paste gets stuck to bottom of the pan.
  • Add the ground meat and cook until it is browned and water is evaporated completely.
  • Add the turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, garam masala, green chillis (optional) and salt. Mix well.
  • Next add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they are completely soften. Keep stirring with spatula to avoid burn sign.
  • Add the green peas and water, give it a mix.
  • Close the Instant Pot lid, set the valve to sealing, and cook on Steam High for 1 minute.
  • Once done, do a natural pressure release (Took almost 20 minutes to pressure to come down naturally).
  • Serve it with rice, roti, naan.
