Add water to the instant pot liner and place a trivet over it. Place the milk container over the trivet.
Hit the Yogurt function and adjust until it says to boil.
When the timer is done, remove the lid and cool the milk. When you dip your index finger in milk, it should feel lukewarm.
Add yogurt starter to the lukewarm milk and whisk it.
Place the milk container in an instant pot liner over the trivet and hit the yogurt button. Set the timer to 5 hours. It may take more time if the weather is cold, not more than 8 hours though.
When the yogurt is set, turn off the instant pot and remove the container. Store the yogurt in the fridge and let it set for 2-3 hours for better consistency.
