  • 115 grams Red carrots 1 cup
  • 3/4 cup Whole milk
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 2 each Almonds, cashews, pistachios Under 2 add Nut powder
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar Date paste or Jaggery powder
  • 2 tbsp Ghee

HOW TO MAKE GAJAR HALWA TOODLER RECIPE

  • To make gajar halwa, grate fresh carrots and soak them in water for 10 minutes. Drain the water, Peel the skin, grate them finely, or use the food processor.
  • In a pressure cooker add ghee, grated red carrots, nut powder, milk, sugar, and cardamom powder, and close the lid.
  • Cook for 5 whistles, turn off stove and release pressure after 5 minutes.
  • If you notice milk, cook until the milk evaporates and the mixture thickens. Serve hot or cold.
