Egg Dosa one of the famous street food in India. This protein-rich recipe makes a filling breakfast on busy weekdays.
Ingredients required for egg dosa:
- Dosa batter
- Eggs
- Red chili powder
- Coriander powder
- Ginger garlic paste
- Salt
Optional :
- Onion
- Cilantro
- Any veggies like beetroot, bell pepper, carrot
- Can add salad greens and make it as a burrito wrap.
Serving suggestion:
This famous street food egg dosa can be served with fresh coconut chutney, peanut chutney, sambar.

How to make an egg dosa:
In a bowl, add eggs, red chili powder, coriander powder, ginger garlic paste, salt, whisk it until all ingredients are combined well.
Grease a dosa pan or non-stick tawa with few drops of oil. If using an iron tawa, grease tawa with oil and spread it with a slice of onion.
Heat it until hot enough. Pour a ladle full of batter on the center of the tawa. Spread it evenly in a circular shape.
Drizzle oil or ghee and pour the egg mixture on the dosa and spread it evenly. At this point, you can add finely chopped onion or cilantro.
Allow cooking on medium-low heat until red or golden. Once the dosa is golden in color, flip and cook on the egg side of the dosa.
Serve it with any chutney or sambar.
